Sharon Rose Photography is a family run photography studio based in Bristol, UK.

We prefer to shoot with natural light. This allows us to fully use the shadows, light and textures available. We’ll shoot on location, or in your family home.

We book all our sessions early morning, late in the late afternoon or early evening when the light is at its softest glow.
If you prefer a studio session, we have studio space and equipment available at our family home, providing an intimate and relaxed setting. 

We look forward to being your family photographer!

Session
Please plan on our time together to last from 1-4 hours. 

The session can be arranged at a location of your choice, below are just a few suggestions:

• Your home – where everyone is comfortable and the children are relaxed

• Your favourite outside location, whether a venerable old building, your favourite park

• A favourite cityscape or urban background.

What to wear
Sharon Rose Photography has found that the most remembered photos are those that mix bright and solid colours next to crumbling brick walls and old buildings. We find that intense, vibrant colour reflects brilliantly in windows, metal doors and puddles in the street. These contrasts make for sharp, unforgettable shots!

We’ve also found that white and busy logos, or all formal wear/dresses can detract from a photo that one wants to appear as relaxed and natural. A good mix of jeans, casual outfits and dresses will well. Following these guidelines can result in memorable and eye-catching portraits.

Don’t forget to bring favourite toys for the younger ones and any other props like jewellery, hats, skateboards, musical instruments or anything else.

What to expect
Sharon Rose Photography offers a variety of finishes and moods to your images, ranging from retro and vintage colours to bright eye popping colours, as well as faded textures.

Within 7-10 days after your session we will send you a sneak preview containing a selection of your images. We send the previews by e-mail so that you can share them with your family and friends.

Approximately 2-4 weeks after your shoot, you will be sent a password for your personalized online gallery with a shopping cart. You can share this link with anyone you wish to have access to your photographs

You will have permission to use the watermarked photos on websites such as your blog, Myspace or Facebook accounts.

Once payment is received your prints will be ready within 2 weeks. We offer a free delivery service within a 5 mile radius.
